The RulesTo receive their certificate recognising them as a Compton Champion, participants must simply register with us, hold one fundraising event in aid of Compton Hospice, promote the work of the hospice to inspire others and document (in whichever way they choose – the more creative the better) how they organised their event along the way. The Finer Details
Compton Champions can raise as much or as little as they like. Every penny counts.
Events can be as big or as small as our Compton Champions feel comfortable with. These events can take place inside or outside of school (participants should discuss and agree their ideas with the relevant teachers if they wish to hold an event in school). Events can be whatever the participants choose (as long as they stay within fundraising guidelines and are passed by the hospice team first.) Participants do not have to run an event alone. They can create a ‘fundraising team,’ and as long as everyone in the team takes part by taking on a specific role, then all participants will receive a team certificate. Teachers can register whole classes or year groups as a team should they so wish. The Compton Hospice fundraising department will be on hand throughout to support participants with materials and advice. |
